Directions:
Mountainside Assembly of God is located in the rural setting of Central Pennsylvania’s Anthracite Coal region. Situated an hour north of the state capital at Harrisburg, and an hour south of the Little League Baseball capital of Williamsport, we are nestled among lovely rolling hills. Other sites of interest nearby are Knoebel’s Amusement Park, Ashland Pioneer Coal Mining Museum and Tour, Hershey Park, and Lancaster is not too far away.
From Interstate 81 take the Minersville exit 116 (Route 901) and head west toward Shamokin. Stay on Route 901 and look for signs to Shamokin. Take Route 61 toward Shamokin and go through the city. As you go over the small metal bridge on your way out of Shamokin make a sharp left onto Route 225. Bear right and take 225 up the mountain for 1 ½ miles. Church sign can be seen on the left.
From Interstate 80 take the Danville exit and follow Route 54 into Paxinos. Make a right onto Route 487 (Sheetz Market) and go several miles to the end and make a left onto Route 61. Go four miles and make a right onto Route 225 (before bridge). Bear right and head up the mountain for 1 ½ miles. See church sign on left.
From the south take Route 225 north. Church is on the right about five miles past Trevorton.
